The New York fashion house De Pinna was one of the first to launch it to prominence, using it in the making of the finest men’s and women’s woollen pieces. In the 1930s it was one of the favourite patterns of the English aristocracy. We decided to merge the refinement of this pattern with the trendy cut of a suit — a longer blazer and high-waisted cigarette trousers.
